Children in Need day………we made a big thing of it at my school. All the children had to dress up in something silly. Staff decided to join in. We had a St Trinian’s babe, somebody in night clothes…..and I rarely join in with things like this, but today I decided to join in. I decided to wear my tatter jacket.
So, the children all saw me and gasped and smiled and were totally amazed.
I had to spend some time explaining what it was and how it was used…..and I don’t thinkI did an awfully good job because I overheard a couple of girls talking. One said to the other…”Have you seen Sir’s jacket? He uses it for dancing around Morrisons”
